Corlia - 12-May-2025
Our one year old is walking at night and crying hysterically since last week. As newborn she was fine in her Moses crib next to our bed then the crib became to small and when she moves she would wake as she hit the sides. We let her in our bed as we were soon to leave for a long holiday. When we returned we moved her in her cot in her own room (9moths old) however she was still waking up during the night and for my sanity I let her back in our bed. I stopped breastfeeding at 11 months as she was waking me every 2hours to feed or soothe her back to sleep as she never liked a dummy. Our new attempt was to move her cot to our room and remove a side so it fit right next to our bed and she can still touch me. She slept well the first night, second night cried hysterically with no obvious reason. During the night she will cry and then want to climb over between us. She is also very attached to me and I feel she has separation anxiety as she wont sometimes even go to her dad in the evenings. She is okay to stay with my parents during the day but start asking for me late afternoon. I'm a working mom and I need my rest and sanity. Please let me know the different option you have available to assist with?
